We’re building new social homes on Peachester Road in Beerwah.
The development will deliver 32 homes for approximately 64 people, including singles, couples, and smaller families who are eligible for social housing.
Key features
The new homes will be close to Beerwah’s shopping centre, public transport, schools, and services.
Features of the development include:
- private and communal spaces
- screening and landscaping to ensure the privacy of tenants and neighbours.
The development will be designed to:
- meet the accessibility requirements of the Social Housing Design Guidelines
- suit the Sunshine Coast’s sub-tropical climate and minimise energy and water use.
Timing
Construction is planned to start mid-2026 to be ready for people to move in by late-2027.
