Social and Affordable Housing Growth
Social and Affordable Housing Growth leads the delivery of the Queensland Government’s commitment to deliver 53,500 social and community homes by 2044. This is achieved through a coordinated and integrated social and affordable housing capital investment and maintenance program, which includes:
- the delivery of government-owned new builds, targeted acquisitions, as well as the maintenance and renewal of over 62,000 public homes, including in partnership with QBuild and other government agencies.
- partnering with registered community housing providers and other private sector partners to deliver social and affordable homes, including through the Queensland Community Housing Investment Pipeline.
