Safer Schoolies Beach Hub
Looking for the best place to celebrate Schoolies? Head down to the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub right on Surfers Paradise beach at the end of Cavill Mall.
The Safer Schoolies Beach Hub will be open every night from 22 to 28 November 2025. The Safer Schoolies Beach Hub is a fenced, alcohol and drug-free entertainment precinct that is open 7pm to midnight.
Each night we’ll be featuring different DJs across 2 stages. On Tuesday, the gates will still open from 7pm but we switch gears with our music and entertainment line-up with Tuesday Night LIVE!
The best part of all is that it’s 100% free to attend—you do not need to purchase anything. All you need to do is register for your official Safer Schoolies wristband to gain entry.
During Schoolies week, you may have heard of other festivals or events that you can purchase tickets to attend. These paid events are run by private operators and are not in any way linked with the Safer Schoolies Response or the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub on Surfers Paradise Beach. You do not need to purchase anything to access to the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub or to get a wristband.
If you're planning to come to Surfers Paradise outside of the peak Queensland Schoolies period (22 to 28 November 2025, also known as 'Week 2') be aware the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub is not operational.
Oh, and the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub is only for genuine Year 12 school leavers—no toolies, droolies, or moolies allowed.

Accessibility and the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub
All graduating year 12 students are free to celebrate the end of their schooling in a safe and happy environment and we welcome school leavers requiring different accessibility needs to the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub.
The Safer Schoolies Beach Hub is an inclusive area that recognises the diverse needs of young people and caters for those who are mobility impaired, have other disabilities, or have non-visible disabilities.
We have viewing platforms, disabled toilet facilities, and other support mechanisms in place to make the Safer Schoolies Beach Hub an inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy.
In 2024 we proudly announced our partnership with the Hidden Disability Sunflower Program. This means many of our staff and volunteers have now been trained to support people with hidden disabilities at the Safer Schoolies Gold Coast Response.
